The client required two websites, one for Encon Insulation and one for the sister site Nevill Long. They therefore required two different designs corresponding to the two different brands. Furthermore the sites were designed to provide their large and expanding client base with a comprehensive resource of information regarding different products and topics within the industry. This included a selection facility to narrow down the search for products, whereby results could be filtered by product type, manufacturer, application and market sector. In addition to a product description, pictures and relevant specification details, the client required the facility for their visitors to download further informational leaflets or brochures regarding the product.

As well as providing a wealth of information on the extensive list of products for the visitors, the client wanted to be able to feature certain products by certain manufacturers to generate advertising revenue. Consequently the client needed access to be able to place certain products at the top of the list and manipulate where other products fitted within it. PCM were able to do this to grant more flexibility for the client on this matter.
