Farmac is a family run builders merchants, supplying timber and building materials to both trade and retail customers. They needed an easy to use, professional looking website to logically display their products. The challenge in this website development project was creating a simple site that effectively laid out the products, without making the site confusing for visitors.
Farmac pride themselves on their personal service and knowledgeable staff who are happy to spend time giving customers tailored advice. They wanted the site to reflect this, with a friendly personable feel. Basing the design on the existing logo, PCM were able to produce a site providing the experience that the client was looking for. In addition to the building of a new site, Farmac wanted to save money on their online advertising by looking at alternative and cost effective ways of driving traffic to their site. PCM were able to confidently advise them to cut down on their pay-per-click advertising by instead using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
