Hugh is the self-professed ‘old man’ of the team. Having assisted in the redirection of the services and strategy of PCM,  he took a director role with the primary responsibilities of finance and strategy. Whilst Hugh’s background is in engineering and manufacturing, he also has an MSc in Management.

Hugh declares that he is not overly proficient with information technology- claiming that when he first went to college the calculator was not yet in common usage! However he owns and regularly uses a Kindle and an iPad, rendering him to be rather more computer savvy than he would have us believe!

He states that the most rewarding part of working with his colleagues is the teams’ positive approach to problem-solving; particularly amongst the uncertainty of an industry where innovation can replace convention in a matter of months, which presents an interesting dynamic to business planning.
