Design and Development

PCM treat every website design and development project with the same amount of diligence, to ensure that the end result exceeds expectation. PCM work hard to create an online presence that is unique to your company. Our developers work with your business to produce the most effective and striking marketing tool and point of reference.

Designing your site
PCM commence every project with a client meeting, to ascertain the objectives of the website, the target audience/s and the desired feature and design requirements. We discuss all of the appropriate options for the different onsite features that are available, such as live chat, member login areas, 3D graphics and much more. This ensures that clients are fully informed about what is available when they come to choose what to feature on their site.

Many clients are particularly interested in creating an accurate aesthetic design specification to convey the company profile correctly. Our website designer’s input is largely determined by how involved in the design process the client wishes to be. Whether you have a specific idea of how you want the site to appear, or you wish to leave it up to the experience of our designer, we will assist you accordingly.

For more information on the features that are available for your website, and some of PCM’s past work, you can either download our brochure or view our case studies.

E-commerce sites

We design and build customised websites for businesses selling goods online. This allows simple and dynamic content updates which change to match new product lines or updates.

These ‘e-commerce’ sites use a Content Management System. This not only enables the list of
products on the website to be readily updated, it also maintains a list of customers who have registered with the website. Thus, orders can be processed and reports generated analysing sales activity.

Using e-commerce websites allows credit card payments to be made directly. For advanced e-commerce websites, the bespoke software of a business can be synchronised with the online system. For example, this can be done by linking the website to an in-house stock system. This greatly reduces the workload associated with running an e-commerce website and keeps business running smoothly and efficiently.
