PCM have been working with Addlestone Keane for over 10 years. During that time, Addlestone Keane have contracted PCM to provide their IT equipment, install and setup the technology including user training, carry out the IT work related to the office relocation in 2014, and provide ongoing comprehensive IT support.


With a growing team handling sensitive commercial cases, Addlestone Keane were looking for an IT support company in Leeds to provide ongoing assistance in managing their IT systems.

After finding us online and getting in touch for an initial conversation, Matt Feeny, PCM’s Technical Director, visited the Addlestone Keane offices and provided advice and a clear plan for ongoing management of their IT infrastructure.

That is now managed through the Comprehensive IT Support contract.

Office Relocation

In 2014, after 20 years at their previous office, Addlestone Keane moved into new premises on Whitehall Waterfront, Leeds. They contracted PCM to move their technology into the new offices, so that their team could be back up and running as soon as the move was complete.

The service included relocating the server and PCs into the Riverside Way office, network cabling and getting the office online with a secure internet connection.

We’re looking forward to another successful office relocation when they move in late 2017 after another year of growth for the Leeds-based solicitors.

IT Equipment & Installation

New equipment such as servers and PCs are supplied by PCM, who have a relationship with some of the UK’s largest vendors. In 2016 PCM installed a new server for Addlestone Keane and synced all of the users’ PCs to the network.

Software solutions have been provided to make working life easier for the team too, with the setup of G Suite email and business applications (formerly Google Apps). Antivirus and Remote Data Backup provide extra layers of security for the sensitive case data held on their networks.

Comprehensive IT Support

With a client list keeping them busy in all areas of commercial law including litigation, commercial law, property law, employment and debt recovery, the Directors and their team of solicitors and administration staff need to be able to access IT help quickly. Assistance is now only a phone call away for the team at Addlestone Keane with their comprehensive IT support contract.

The IT support desk at PCM is manned 9am-5:30pm during the week, with a member of the IT support team always available during this time. And because both companies are based in Leeds, any problems that need addressing onsite rather than remotely can be done quickly.

The IT infrastructure at Addlestone Keane is now a stable environment, so they experience very little unplanned downtime.

When new starters join the team, PCM are able to set them up quickly, syncing the PC with the software and Apps used by the rest of the team, such as Google G Suite.

With proactive monitoring of the server, we are able to identify any potential risks to the security or stability of the data and resolve them before they become an issue.

Strong security measures including antivirus and remote data backup ensure that if there are any issues, the PCM support team can handle these quickly, with little impact on productivity.

Addlestone Keane Solicitors now have a local IT support team that they can contact quickly, trust to secure their data and advise them on the future of their technology.
